America's Only Trail Rated® Pickup: Discover the New Jeep Gladiator in Painted Post

The time has come for a convertible midsize pickup, and the new Jeep Gladiator seizes the day! With removable doors and standard 33-inch all-terrain tires, the Jeep Gladiator is a much needed breath of fresh air in a segment over-crowded with cookie cutter trucks. Discover the new Gladiator at Chilson Wilcox, serving the Elmira and Mansfield, PA areas.

The Industry's Only Open-Air Pickup

The new Jeep Gladiator isn't like other trucks. The Jeep Gladiator has removable doors and a removable top. It has a fold-down windshield reminiscent of WWII-era U.S. military vehicles. The Jeep Gladiator has best-in-class towing capability, is the most off-road capable midsize truck ever, and has iconic Jeep brand design that will turn heads from Corning to Horseheads. It also comes in a choice of 10 exterior colors, including Sting-Gray, Punk'n Metallic, Gator, and Firecracker Red. The other trucks don't.

The Jeep Gladiator comes standard with a zipperless, folding Sunrider® soft top roof that can be easily removed one-handed. Elmira area customers have two options in available hard top roofs. The body-color hardtop seamlessly blends with the rest of the exterior while in place, while the black Freedom Top® hardtop roof adds an attractive accent to the vibrant exterior color options. Both hard top roofs are easily removed by simply popping the lightweight roof panels to get back in touch with nature in the open air environment.

The Only Trail Rated® Pickup

The all-new Jeep Gladiator rolls into Painted Post as the only pickup to have the respected Trail Rated® badge. Standard on all Gladiator models, the Trail Rated® designation is earned by vehicles that are put to the test on California's unforgiving Rubicon trail and the wilds of Moab, Utah. Trail Rated® vehicles prove themselves in five categories:

  • Traction to keep your grip on slippery surfaces and gravelly roadways
  • Water Fording, made possible through a high ground clearance and sealed electrical connections and body openings to keep the water out
  • Maneuverability to avoid trail obstacles, get around tight corners, and help you avoid accidents
  • Articulation refers to the Jeep Gladiator's ability to maintain as many wheels on the ground as possible when crossing rocky terrain and pothole-strewn streets
  • Ground Clearance matters when you need to get over obstacles like logs, rocks, and debris without sustaining costly and potentially dangerous damage to the underside of the Gladiator.

Authentic Jeep Brand Design

Even if your daily rounds seldom take you off the Painted Post pavement, there's still plenty to love about the Jeep Gladiator. It's available with a choice of five wheel designs, including 17-inch black steel wheels and 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels with polished edge, available LED headlights and taillights, and available body-color fenders to grab the locals' attention.

The Jeep Gladiator may look like a Wrangler, but it's all pickup. The five-foot bed is made from high-strength steel and features several handy design features. The tailgate lowers to one of three positions to facilitate your cargo needs, and the available roll-up tonneau bed cover keeps your gear dry and dust-free.

On the inside, the Jeep Wrangler is a high-tech work of art. Horseheads drivers will find a standard seven-inch touchscreen with an option to upgrade up to 8.4 inches, both of which are your interface for the award-winning Uconnect® infotainment systems. Leather trim interior sets the stage, while the available premium Alpine audio system delivers crisp, clear sound inside and an available portable, weatherproof Bluetooth® speaker charges while in place in the cargo box.

You're not like everybody, neither is the Jeep Gladiator
